Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 17, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using AIDEN (the “Service”). It applies to everyone — free users, paid users, and anyone accessing an agent you've shared. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
We built AIDEN to help people think, learn and build. We take misuse seriously, both because it harms other people and because it risks the platform itself. If you're unsure whether something is allowed, email trust@aiden.ai before you ship it.
1. Prohibited content
You must not use AIDEN to create, store, share or generate content that:
- Sexually exploits or endangers minors, or depicts child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind. This is an absolute red line and we report violations to authorities.
- Is non-consensual sexual content, including intimate imagery of identifiable people created or edited without their consent.
- Incites, glorifies or plans real-world violence, terrorism, or serious harm to people, animals or property.
- Harasses, doxxes, threatens, or targets people based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, nationality or other protected characteristics.
- Facilitates self-harm or suicide, or provides dangerous instructions for eating disorders, drug misuse, or similar harms.
- Provides detailed uplift for the synthesis, acquisition or deployment of chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear (CBRN) weapons, or for malware, exploits, or cyber attacks.
- Enables fraud, identity theft, phishing, spamming, market manipulation, or evasion of sanctions or export controls.
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity or data-protection rights.
2. Prohibited behaviour
You must not:
- Misrepresent AI output as human-authored in contexts where doing so is deceptive, illegal, or harms people (for example, in political disinformation, fake reviews, academic fraud, or impersonation of real people or officials).
- Use AIDEN to make automated decisions that materially affect people (credit, employment, housing, insurance, medical diagnosis, legal outcomes) without meaningful human review and without any disclosures required by applicable law.
- Scrape, harvest or extract data from third-party sites in a way that violates their terms, robots directives or applicable law.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract model weights, prompts or training data of any provider routed through AIDEN.
- Bypass, test or stress security controls without prior written permission (see Security research).
- Resell access to the Service, create accounts programmatically at scale, or share a single account across an organisation to evade seat, credit or rate limits.
- Use the Service in a way that materially interferes with other users — for example, runaway agent loops, denial-of-service against our infrastructure, or generating excessive load on third-party providers we route to.
3. Agent and model misuse
Agents you build are powerful. When you publish or share an agent, you are responsible for what that agent does in the hands of its users. In particular, you must not:
- Build an agent that is designed to circumvent safety or content policies of any underlying model provider.
- Share an agent whose primary purpose falls under Section 1 (for example, a “deepfake” agent).
- Use the Service to generate content that could reasonably be used to impersonate a real person for fraud or defamation.
4. High-risk, regulated, and safety-critical use
AIDEN is not certified for use in safety-critical systems (aviation, power grids, industrial control, emergency dispatch, military targeting) or as a medical, legal, psychiatric or financial professional. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. If you build agents for health, legal, financial or other regulated domains, you are responsible for appropriate disclaimers, professional oversight, and compliance with local law.
5. Security research
We welcome good-faith security research. You may test for vulnerabilities without breaking these rules, provided you:
- Use only your own accounts and do not access data belonging to other users.
- Do not exfiltrate data beyond what is necessary to demonstrate a finding.
- Report findings promptly to security@aiden.ai and give us reasonable time to respond before any public disclosure.
6. Reporting abuse
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this AUP — whether on a shared agent, a marketplace listing, or anywhere else on the Service — report it at trust@aiden.ai. For child-safety concerns, we prioritise investigation and will cooperate with law enforcement.
7. Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice where the risk is serious:
- Remove or disable specific content, agents or shares.
- Rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts.
- Reverse or withhold credits obtained by abusive behaviour.
- Preserve and disclose information as required by law.
Where a violation is not urgent, we try to reach out first. Where it is urgent — for example, child-safety concerns, active abuse of other users, or active infrastructure attacks — we will act first and explain afterwards.
8. Updates
We may update this AUP as AI, the Service, and the risks around them evolve. Material changes will be notified in the product and by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
